What is Infinicyt™?

Infinicyt™ is an analysis software for flow cytometric data, capable of integrating in a fast and easy way the files generated by each one of the tubes from the same sample, thus yielding comprehensive information, as well as a faster, objective multidimensional analysis. Infinicyt™ comprises exclusive tools that allow for a better identification and description of the different cell populations.

Infinicyt™ is being developed as part of the EuroFlow™ project “Flow cytometry for fast and sensitive diagnosis and follow-up of haematological malignancies”, in which highly qualified cytometry professionals are involved.

What advantages does Infinicyt™ offer?

Infinicyt™ is the most powerful software for data integration and multidimensional analysis of flow cytometry files.

• Infinicyt™ includes a File Merge mode, which allows select different data files belonging to the same sample and merge their information in a unique data file.
  The merge process is a powerful tool that reduces analysis time, and provides a better immunophenotypical description of cell populations. In a single gating process of the population of interest, we can analyze multiple markers acquired in different tubes. The results are shown in a single dot plot and the statistics are summarized in a single report.
• Infinicyt™ includes internal control systems that verify if the conditions needed for the merger algorithm to work correctly are applicable.
• Infinicyt™ includes a wide variety of analysis tools and exclusive graphics which allow for a user-friendly interpretation of obtained results. You can analyze with a reference picture, or calculate new virtual parameters.

What system requirements does Infinicyt™ need?

Infinicyt™ runs on PC platform, on Windows XP, VISTA and 7.
The program requires a Pentium III or superior processor, with 2GB RAM, 100Mb Hard drive space and a large, (at least 20”) screen is recommended.

The only limitation to open files or processing speed is given by the characteristics of the data files, you will require higher computer requirements (RAM and processor) if your data files contain high amount of events and parameters to study.

Can I use one licensed version of Infinicyt™ in different computers?

The standard licensed version of Infinicyt™ is delivered in a pack containing the installation disc, as well as one USB key (dongle) per individual license. The program will work only if there is a USB key connected to one of your computer’s USB ports. It is possible to install Infinicyt™ in several different computers, but it will work only in those to which a USB key is connected at that moment.

How can I get Infinicyt™?

Infinicyt™ demo and licensed versions can be ordered from our website.

• You can get the demo version from “Download” option of the toolbar. Once you have filled out and submitted a brief questionnaire, you will receive an e-mail with information about instructions for the installation. Demo version has some analysis limitations (such us number of gates) and has an expiration date of 30 days since installation.
• You can order the licensed version from “Purchase” option of the toolbar. Once you have filled out and submitted the order form, you will receive an e-mail with information about costs, payment options, sale conditions, and delivery time of the program.

How can I learn to use Infinicyt™?

Step-by-step instructions are available in the “Support” option of the toolbar, where you can download several Tutorials and a basic User’s Manual:

• To learn the basic functions of the program we recommend you to start by downloading the demo version, and the Tutorials provided in the “Documentation” option of the toolbar with theirs Demo files. Tutorials will help you to understand the advantages of this analysis program. For a more comprehensible understanding of the different options, we recommend you to read first the Manual Analysis Tutorial.
• The basic User’s Manual teaches you, in a fast and easy way, all Infinicyt™ options and operations.

Can I use my own data with Infinicyt™ demo version?

The demo version lets users work with both our tutorial data and with their own data. This evaluation version of the software can support all FCS files . We encourage our customers to try the demo version prior to purchasing the software.
